Nature’s Art

Steve Brockman Photography is all about converting nature’s wonders into art. It is focused on capturing a unique moment through light, composition, and photographic technique resulting in a one-of-a-kind photograph. It strives to bring out in a simple and clear way the birds, wildlife, and landscapes of three southeast habitats.

“Habitats of the Southeast”

The rivers and estuary in the southeast spread to form a series of tidal marshes. These marshes and connected rivers form one of the most beautiful landscapes in America. Wildlife is abundant and the species of birds is without match.

The ocean and shoreline of the southeast is a mixture of barrier islands and beautiful beaches. Birds flock to these shorelines and beach areas to mate, rest, and feed. The mix of sea oats, beach grasses, and palmetto dunes make it ideal for great landscapes.

Inland beyond the ocean and river inlets is a vast network of forests, fresh water creeks, ponds, and grassy meadows. This habitat is unique in itself with a variety of songbirds, butterflies, hawks, and owls. In these areas deer, bears, armadillos, and other wildlife are abundant. The oaks and pines provide the protection required by these wildlife inhabitants.
